PETILLION leads Larcier conference on IP Enforcement Directive 2004/48

On 14 December 2017, legal publisher Larcier is hosting a conference on the status of the implementation of IP Enforcement Directive 2004/48/EC in Belgium.

On the same day, a book will be published containing the contributions by more than twenty authors, all recognised as specialising in IP and having handled landmark IP cases.

Flip Petillion took the initiative and edited the book. He contributed an article on the role of arbitration in the settlement of intellectual property disputes as an alternative to court litigation.

Diégo Noesen and Alexander Heirwegh of the PETILLION firm also contributed to the book. Diégo Noesen wrote on the recovery of fees and costs in Belgian IP court litigation. Alexander Heirwegh prepared a historic framework of Enforcement Directive 2004/48.

The day will end with a debate lead by Flip Petillion and a Q&A session in which different contributors will participate.
